• Chilled Watermelon Soup

    6 cups watermelon, seeded & cut into cubes (approx 1 medium)
    1 green or purple pepper, chopped and seeded
    1 inch (or a tablespoon) minced fresh ginger
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1/2 a lime’s worth)
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/4 cup dry white wine OR substitute white grape or apple juice
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs – thyme, basil, and mint all work well
    Savory Accents Danger Zone Hot Sauce to taste – (we use 2 tablespoons, plus extra to garnish with serving)
    Optional – top with a few crumbles of feta cheese before serving
    Add all ingredients to blender or food processor, puree , and let chill for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to marry!
