    Grilled Chili Peppers Stuffed with Cheese

    Want these flavorful chilies? Get them fresh at the Dane County Farmers Market every Saturday in summer!

    INGREDIENTS

    Peppers (such as Anaheim, Big Jims, Poblanos, and Long Sweet Peppers)
    Cheese of your choice (such as goat cheese, cream cheese, pepper jack, Swiss, and  Cheddar)

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1.Cut tops off peppers leaving as much pepper as possible.
    2.Gently take out seeds with a paring knife.
    3.Stuff peppers with your cheese of choice.
    4.Cover open ends of peppers with tin foil.
    5.Lay peppers on the grill and cook on both sides until skin is tender and browned.
    Serve warm.
    1. Greek-Style Cheesecake with Spicy Honey

      Greek-Style Cheesecake with Spicy Honey
      3 - 8 oz pkg of Cream Cheese
      1/2 cup sugar
      2 Tbls. Flour
      3 eggs
      1/2 cup plain yogurt
      1/2 tsp grated lemon peel

      Line bottom of 9" springform pan with wax paper.  Lightly grease sides of
      pan with butter.  Combine cream cheese, sugar, and flour, mixing at medium
      speed on electric mixer until well blended.  Add eggs, one at a time, mixing
      well after each addition.  Blend in yogurt and peel.  Pour into prepared
      pan.  Bake at 325 degrees, 50 minutes.  Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool
      before removing rim of pan.  Chill.

      1/3 cup Savory Accents Spicy Honey
      1 Tbls Butter

      Combine honey and butter in small saucepan.  Bring to boil over medium heat,
      stirring constantly.  Continue boiling 1 minute.  Cool to spreading
      consistency.  Spread over chilled cheesecake just before serving.  Garnish
      with lemon peel and fresh mint if desired.
    2. Spicy Cabbage Salad

      Spicy Cabbage Salad

      1/2 Head of Cabbage finely chopped (Red or Green) can mix for more color
      1/4 of Med. Size Red Onion finely chopped
      1/4 cup of craisins

      Dressing
      1/4 cup of oil (canola or light olive oil)
      3 Tbls of Red Wine Vinegar
      1 Tbls Sugar
      1 tsp of Savory Accents Spicy Bloody Mary Seasoning

      Mix together well and pour over the cabbage mixture.  Stir and let sit for
      at least 1/2 hour.

      Makes approximately 6 servings.
